London – July 2019. His Excellency Mr Manuel Lobo Antunes, Ambassador of the Portuguese Republic to Britain, received Anthony Bailey, President of the Portuguese Centenary Appeal at the Portuguese Embassy in London.
Mr Bailey updated the Ambasssdor on the current activities of the Appeal in Britain and in Portugal and showed His Excellency the finalised designs of the approved statue of King Manuel II which will be unveiled in Richmond and Sintra.
Ambassador Lobo Antunes offered his full support for the realisation of the Appeal’s objectives.
