Lisbon, February 2016. HRH The Duke of Braganza, Royal Patron, and Anthony Bailey, Chairman of the Portuguese Centenary Appeal, held an official meeting with the Minister of Culture of Portugal, HE João Soares, at the Ministry of Culture at the National Palace of Ajuda in Lisbon.
During the meeting His Royal Highness and Anthony informed the Minister of Culture of the forthcoming launch of the Portuguese Centenary Appeal on the aims and proposed activities of the Appeal will be.
The Minister for his part offered the full support of the Ministry of Culture of Portugal for what he described as a timely and important effort to promote both the historic and contemporary relations between Portugal and Britain.
